How are donations to the Flat Rock Dam Coalition used?
Your donations directly fund the cost of providing educational materials to the general public, including signs, literature, public outreach, and advocacy efforts, and educational programs. 100% of all contributions to directly to support our efforts to educate the community.

Preserving the Flat Rock Dam maintains water quality, protects wildlife habitats, ensures continued recreational activities, prevents potential flooding issues, and preserves an important historical landmark that contributes to our community’s identity and tourism.
Why is saving the Flat Rock Dam important?
The Flat Rock Dam is a critical piece of local infrastructure that helps manage water levels, prevents flooding, and supports the surrounding ecosystem. How do I obtain a receipt for my donation?
Donation receipts are emailed within 48 hours for all online contributions, or automatically for fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe. For check or cash donations, receipts are mailed within two weeks to the address provided. All receipts include your donation amount, date, our tax ID number, and confirmation that no goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution. For donations over $250, we provide additional documentation as required by the IRS. If you need a replacement receipt or have questions, please contact [email protected] with your name and approximate donation date.
